You’ll Build
DPR specializes in building technically complex and sustainable projects. Hospitals that lead the way in technical innovation, the tallest high-rises in Texas, research facilities that protect the environment, and more. We're building great things that change our industry, our communities and the world. See more of our projects →

You'll Grow
We know career fulfilment and success looks different for everyone. Rather than force everyone up a traditional corporate ladder, we think about development at the individual level and focus on personal career aspirations—from the desire to grow in leadership to the desire to broaden skillsets, and everything in between. How do we do it?
Shared Leadership
Our experience has shown that the best ideas come from those closest to the project, not the people at the top of an org chart. That’s why we follow a shared leadership model, where no one is limited by job title or role, and where opportunities to grow are always right around the corner.
Coaching
We view your career as a continuous journey—one you won’t go alone. One of the most important relationships you’ll build at DPR is with your coach, the person who shares responsibility for your growth and development. But it’s not just your coach. Other leaders and colleagues will go on the journey with you, encouraging you to explore new opportunities and helping you discover your unique career path.
Training and Development
We’re committed to providing access to the latest tools, training and benefits to keep you inspired, learning and growing every day so you’ll feel prepared to tackle the job that’s in front of you today, and perhaps, to take on a role you only dreamed of (or maybe never knew existed!).
Build Community
At DPR, some of the most meaningful things we build aren’t measured in square feet. We don’t just strive to be the best general contractor; our mission is to be the most admired company—period. That means investing in each other, our planet and the communities we call home.
Culture of Belonging
The DPR team reflects the diversity of the communities where we live, work, serve and build. Respect for the individual is one of our core beliefs and that supports a culture of belonging where all are encouraged to thrive as their most authentic selves. We're proud to be a founding member of Construction Inclusion Week and are committed to keeping the conversation going all year round.
Community Initiatives
We believe that philanthropy and volunteering are about more than giving money to a cause and checking a box. We combine our unique skills and resources as a company with a careful selection of nonprofit partners to create real social change.

Our eight ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that give employees from underrepresented populations and their allies a voice and path toward advocacy, exposure, development, and change empowerment.

Office Spaces
We invest heavily in innovation that reduces waste and saves the planet’s resources. And DPR doesn’t just build green, we live it. Our commitment includes investment in our own net-zero-energy offices that serve as living labs to tracking our energy and water use, a vital component of our carbon footprint. Explore a few!
Sacramento
Office
We pushed the envelope of sustainable design in the construction of the Sacramento office, transforming two existing buildings originally built in the 1940s. The renovation incorporated mass timber using cross laminated timber (CLT) panels, making it Sacramento’s first CLT structure and the first shear wall application of CLT in the State of California. Designed to meet LEED® Platinum and WELL™ certification standards, the space is also targeting Net Positive Energy.
Phoenix
Office
The 16,533-sq.-ft. LEED Platinum structure was Arizona’s first net-zero energy (NZE) building. While demonstrating the viability of attaining NZE operations within a desert environment—a lofty goal in itself—the project also illustrated how a highly collaborative, experienced team can effectively transform an aging, underutilized structure located in an area of urban blight into a model for sustainable development and urban renewal.
Our Team
We can't build great things without great people.
We asked a few of our teammates to share their thoughts on building a career at DPR.
Meet Tanin Haidary, Senior Project
Engineer
“You can’t build these projects with just one person. As long as everyone is open-minded to different methods and ways of working, I think it can be successful. So, skills I take very seriously are open mindedness and having a “team” environment instead of a “me” environment.”
Meet Olga Hernandez, Project
Engineer
"Every individual that I have worked with at DPR has helped me grow my confidence and help me be sure of who I am as an engineer and as an individual, so it’s reflected into my everyday life and at the job site. I think that’s what set me up for success. I’ve grown and I’ve gotten more confident over time."
