A Higher Degree of Service and Quality
Every campus is unique, but they all share something in common: They bring together educators, capital projects professionals and students who all have varying needs and goals. DPR’s higher education team engages these groups to build environments that are functional and forward thinking.
We put ourselves in their shoes, and challenge each other to think like the professors, administrators and maintenance personnel who will use the spaces by asking ourselves the questions that matter to them: Can my students hear me without shouting? Does the infrastructure support AV and internet technologies seamlessly? Is the building both safe and accessible at the same time? Are maintenance areas easy to reach and manage?
By viewing a building through the eyes of the people who will interact with it every day, DPR delivers tailor-made spaces that integrate with and enhance the distinctive culture of each campus.
Our goal is to streamline the design and construction process for campus administrators and facility decision-makers. Instead of bringing them problems, we solve them. If anything, we over-communicate to make budgets, schedules and challenges as predictable as possible.
