Sustainable Practices
People and the Planet
Sustainability starts at home. DPR doesn’t just build green, we live it. From eliminating single-use water bottles in our offices to incorporating solar-powered energy on construction sites, we’re implementing innovative solutions to benefit our people, partners, customers and the planet.
DPR's global sustainability group is dedicated to keeping the company laser-focused on sustainability. This commitment includes investment in our own net-zero-energy offices that serve as living labs to tracking our energy and water use, a vital component of our carbon footprint.

Regeneration
The Path to Regeneration is a roadmap for DPR’s vision to reduce carbon emissions. It focuses on a direct data-driven approach, with progress tracked using real-time transparent data coupled with in-house, hands-on carbon sequestering initiatives.

The Talk
Our Customers
Our desire to save the planet translates to our projects and jobsites. We take steps from sourcing responsibly-produced building materials to managing jobsite environmental aspects to programs to reduce jobsite waste and more.
But the work isn’t done when we turn over a building to an owner: The lifecycle of a building itself has the potential to leave the deepest carbon footprint. That’s why we counsel clients and provide them with tools to maintain sustainable practices long after the ribbon-cutting ceremony. We don’t blindly recommend green strategies to customers; we consider the social and economic impacts because sustainability goals aren’t achievable without economic stability.
At DPR, we believe sustainability goes beyond just the environment. It’s about building spaces that are healthy for both the planet and the people who use them.
