Liberty Mutual Insurance and The Center for Construction Research and Training recognized DPR’s partnership with Canvas to pilot a worker-controlled robotic drywall finishing tool. The 2022 Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award in Construction recognizes evidence-based technologies, practices and programs designed to reduce or eliminate construction hazards that lead to injuries.
Across the U.S.
The DPR Foundation celebrated its largest single annual grant pool to date, awarding funds to 35 nonprofit partners across the U.S. DPR volunteers completed more than 30 pro bono facility renovations over the last year.
Bothell, WA
The Lyell Immunopharma LyFE Manufacturing Center was awarded Project of the Year by the Associated General Contractors of Washington. Designed by Perkins+Will and opened in March 2021, the facility will help revolutionize the field of cell therapy.
Charlotte, NC
Portman Holdings and DPR celebrated the completion of The Line in February. Built with the expertise of DPR’s self-perform teams, the 16-level building includes office, retail space and more. The Line offers unobstructed views of the uptown Charlotte skyline.
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
DPR and EIG partnered to deliver a best-in-class facility for a financial services company two months ahead of schedule due to strong team collaboration from start to finish. The full renovation was completed in April.
Hopewell, NC
Biotechnology company BeiGene invited New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, leaders from the City of Hopewell, IPS and DPR to the groundbreaking of its new 400,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing and clinical research and development center at the Princeton West Innovation Campus in April. The pharmaceutical manufacturing space, BeiGene’s first in the U.S., will develop affordable medicines to improve cancer treatment outcomes.
Pasadena, CA
Alicia Loh Ortiz, Southern California business unit leader, was named to Engineering News-Record’s Top 20 Under 40 Class of 2022. The award recognizes her as one of the best of the next generation of construction professionals.
Phoenix, AZ
DPR hosted U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema for a tour at Digital Building Components’ fabrication plant in April. The group discussed the challenges facing the state’s construction industry and the opportunities for prefabrication to change construction and project delivery methods.
San Francisco, CA
Last March, DPR broke ground on what will become the first fully electric building on San Francisco State University’s campus. The Science & Engineering Innovation Center, designed by SmithGroup, will welcome students in early 2024.
Tucson, AZ
Construction is underway at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Designed by Line and Space, the new center will facilitate the fundamental goal of creating a physical environment that supports and sustains the philosophy of integrative medicine. The project is slated for completion in Fall 2023.

In March, DPR celebrated the opening of its newest office space in Europe featuring an open space layout that promotes sustainability and wellness.
Nashville, TN
DPR’s Nashville office is the first WELL Platinum building in the state of Tennessee. Designed by ESa, the space reflects trends in wellness and building sustainability where employee health is prioritized.
Raleigh-Durham, NC
The new location in the heart of Research Triangle Park was designed by Gensler and includes a 70,000-sq.ft. prefabrication research and development warehouse—housing the capabilities of DPR’s family of companies all in one place.
