DPR ranked 15th on Forbes’ 2023 list of America’s Best Midsize Employers, and first in the category including construction firms. To determine the list, a survey of approximately 45,000 American employees were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employers to friends and family.


Alexandria, VA

Inova Health Systems and DPR celebrated the topping out of the new Inova Health Center–Oakville. The Health Center is an outpatient facility that will include a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery, imaging services, primary care and medical offices. The project is slated to be complete by Fall 2024.


Arlington, TX

Medical City Arlington recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its new patient tower expansion, including 60 new patient care beds, eight private day surgery rooms, a kitchen expansion/ renovation and more updates to the campus.

Boston, MA

To accommodate the rapidly growing body of work and team members in Boston, DPR self-performed most of the construction on its new 16,000-sq.-ft. office space, updating it into a modern, technologically advanced workspace to match the company’s culture.

Charlotte, NC

DPR recently celebrated the topping out of Atrium Health’s innovative advanced radiation therapy facility. The state-of- the-art facility designed by E4H Architecture - MorrisSwitzer Environments for Health will be the first in the Carolinas to offer proton therapy.

Clemson, SC

At Clemson University, the team broke ground on the 143,000-sq.-ft. interdisciplinary Advanced Materials Innovation Complex (AMIC) lab facility. Scheduled to open in 2025 and designed by HOK, AMIC will bring cutting-edge research capabilities to the Clemson campus for emerging technologies.

Davis, CA

Together, Sutter Health and DPR, along with partners Stantec Architecture, Frank M. Booth, Inc. and Rex Moore, delivered a 28,154-sq.-ft. Family Birth Center and Emergency Department to the community ahead of schedule. To do so, the team leveraged an Integrated Project Delivery approach to communicate with key partners and proactively plan for unforeseen factors.

Nashville, TN

Meta, DPR Construction, Mycocycle and Rockwood Sustainable Solutions teamed up on a solution that uses mushrooms to convert excess drywall into a new building product. Developing more sustainable initiatives is critical to the construction industry, especially when tackling tough-to-recycle materials, such as drywall.

Phoenix, AZ

With the help of design partners DFDG Architecture and CO Architects, the Mayo Clinic Integrated Education and Research Building planning team used RediStair prefabricated concrete stairs for the building’s exterior stairwells. These stairs are easy to manufacture and install, and require little maintenance over the building’s lifetime.

Pleasanton, CA

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony, 10X Genomics celebrated the completion of its new state-of-the-art lab. The project team, including HOK, Chavez-Grieves and DPR, worked collaboratively using a design-to-build approach that included prefabricated foundation elements and exterior walls, and self-performed several trades.

Richmond, VA

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University with the DPR team, patient families, staff, elected officials and community partners. Designed by HKS, Inc. the new Children’s Tower will provide a state-of-the-art treatment center for children across Virginia.

San Francisco, CA

Thermo Fisher Scientific achieved Certificate of Occupancy at the cell therapy manufacturing facility on UCSF Medical Center’s Mission Bay campus. The DPR team spent many hours creating collaborative solutions to overcome obstacles and complete the facility that will manufacture therapies to treat cancer and other rare diseases.

Singapore

DPR’s team in Singapore achieved the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ Silver Achievement Award for outstanding commitment to health and safety in the workplace. With almost 2,000 entries yearly from more than 50 countries, the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards recognize DPR’s commitment to continuous improvement in the health of its workforce and prevention of accidents.

Seattle, WA

DPR topped out the 12-story, 450,000-sq.-ft. life sciences facility Eleven50 Eastlake. Designed by Gensler, the building includes mission-critical lab and office space with retail on the ground floor, and will target LEED Gold.

Tucson, AZ

The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona celebrated its topping out with staff, donors and project team members. Designed by Line and Space, with more than 34,000 sq. ft. of clinical and classroom space, the Center serves as a facilitating space for teaching and practicing integrative medicine.
