The 150,000-sq.-ft. Advanced Materials Innovation Complex (AMIC) will be a new state-of-the-art research facility for Clemson's Department of Materials Science and Engineering. AMIC will be the University's most technologically advanced facility to date, providing adaptable laboratories, opportunities for interdisciplinary undergraduate education and research, and strategic co-location space to enable easy flow of interdepartmental ideas. Featured learning spaces will include cutting-edge research laboratories, innovative teaching laboratories, synergistic classrooms, and shared collaborative spaces.

Project Details
Designed to achieve 2 Green Globes, the building will be a concrete structure with electrochromic glass curtainwall and brick to match Clemson's existing campus aesthetic. DPR is self-performing several scopes of work including foundation concrete and prefabricated exterior panels.
