Compass Real Estate, a technology-based residential real estate brokerage firm worked with DPR on the build-out of their new Atlanta office. Located on the first and second floors of a new core and shell building in the center of Buckhead, the project, which has been named The Charles, consists of approximately 26,000-sq.-ft. of high-end office space with the addition of a structural steel mezzanine level. The structural mezzanine required sawcutting the existing slab on grade and installing new concrete footings.
Project
Details
In addition to pouring back the concrete footers, the project required pouring back approximately 6,400-sq.-ft. of concrete slab on grade including stadium seating. The first generation TI Space consisted of 25-foot ceilings and required extensive coordination between MEP Subcontractors to work around the existing lines and added architectural features.
Construction of the Compass office space was concurrent with the completion of the Core and Shell project, in which DPR worked closely with the Base Building contractor to coordinate work and deliveries.
