CoreSite’s expanding their campus with the addition of NY3, a 156,000-sq.-ft., four-story, 15MW data center. Adjacent to the recently completed NY2 project, with limited space on site CoreSite went vertical, NY3 will be the tallest mission critical facility in the Tri-state area.

Project Details
The ground-up building will feature three data halls (5MW each) on the second, third, and fourth floor totaling over 90,000-sq.-ft. The data halls primary electrical distribution, UPS, utility switchgear, and backup water storage tanks will be located on the first floor. Additionally, the new facility will feature rooftop equipment including water cooled chillers, cooling towers, and diesel generators with sub-base tanks.
While a significant portion of the buildings program will be dedicated to the data halls and supporting infrastructure space, floors 1 and 4 will feature administrative areas for both CoreSite and future tenants.
Built in the heart of the Meadowlands, a wetlands district, water is a challenge for many properties. To address these concerns the building will be elevated at the 500-year flood plain to mitigate potential issues.
