US Pharmacopeia Headquarters Consolidation Project | Rockville, Maryland
After a two-year preconstruction effort, evaluating options and designs to reach the GMP, DPR completed the consolidation of nearly 150,000 sq. ft. of laboratory and office space for U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), a non-government organization that promotes public health by establishing state-of-the-art standards to ensure the quality of medicines and other healthcare technologies.

This facility is comprised of 50,000 sq. ft. of analytical and wet labs, 57,000 sq. ft. of office space, and a 19,000-sq.-ft. conference center. In addition, this project includes warehouse space, a 150,000-sq.-ft. underground garage and 12,000 sq. ft. of green roof over critical research and development areas.
The state-of-the-art conference center is used when hosting conferences and tradeshows for industry professionals from around the world. The facility is equipped with advanced audio/visual equipment and enough space to host a wide array of organizations.
