The Illumina Singapore Biopolis tenant improvement started as a minor 3,500-sq.-ft. project involving the reconfiguration of workstations, the addition of cupboards and lockers, and a small pantry expansion. However, within the first few meetings between the owner, architect, and contractor, Illumina was thoroughly impressed with DPR and added significantly more scopes of work.

Details
Because of DPR’s project plan and design expertise, Illumina decided to completely revamp its entire 12,000-sq.-ft. office space. The new scope of work included: two meeting room overhauls, a complete teardown and rebuild of the pantry, and a revamp of the signage walls. DPR completed this project in just nine days, adhering to a strict schedule during Illumina’s summer office shutdown.
