Polykon Manufacturing Facility | Sandston, Virginia
The Polykon Manufacturing Facility project is a ground-up production facility that was built for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets on a 22.75-acre campus in Henrico’s White Oak Technology Park. The facility includes 60,000 sq. ft. of space that spans four buildings of warehouse and administration, advanced manufacturing, production and operations. The facility houses five production line unit processes for the production of both powder and liquid ingredients.

Details
The facility includes flexible filling and packaging lines and is protected by AFFF Foam suppression systems, fire water containment and multiple safety gas sensing systems. The process systems include various high purity utility, product piping and reactor systems with multiple CIP (Clean In Place) solutions and RO (Reverse Osmosis) water distribution. The facility also includes process systems for bulk chemical distribution along with Hazardous Gas distribution.
