This project involved expanding the Abrazo West hospital by adding a new building that connects to the existing facility and its utilities. The expansion included an interventional radiology (IR) suite, which consists of an IR and control room, patient holding bays, and a reading room, as well as a pharmacy suite consisting of a USP 795, 800, chemo buffer, and positive buffer room.

Project
The ground-up building expansion connected the new interventional radiology (IR) suite to the adjacent existing IR suite in the original building. The project also included technology and pharmacist workspaces, medical storage areas, staff offices, and new mechanical equipment tied into the hospital’s existing systems. The project required relocating existing utilities and reconfiguring a staff parking lot.
