This fast-paced eight-week project was completed for Torrent Consulting, a Salesforce consulting business. The space was a first-generation interior tenant improvement project in The Refinery building, a Class A office building in Charlotte. The 3,800 sq.-ft. SF space was designed by BB+M architecture.

To Grow
Torrent was outgrowing their existing space in Charlotte and looking for a new office with an open work area while also utilizing plenty of private meeting space. The new space includes five huddle rooms, a medium & large conference room, a pantry, lounge, and central collaboration area. The space uses glass fronts for the huddle and meeting rooms, a display wall for monitors in the lobby and central collaboration areas, and a combination of open ceilings, ACT, sealed concrete, and carpet. The pantry includes millwork with quartz tops as well as some open shelving. Exposed steel columns and bracing were fireproofed and painted and match well with the modern industrial feel of the The Refinery building.
Self-Perform
Solutions
DPR self-performed framing, drywall, level 5 finish on walls for dry-erase paint, ACT, and 360 specialty grid system for the central collaboration area. Our self-perform team helped drive scheduling and created critical pathways for this quick project.
