After completing the initial buildout of Willis Towers Watson's MLK office space, DPR was awarded the renovation work to modify this space to facilitate WTW's new program. This was a fast track renovation of an existing 20,000-sq.-ft. office space in an occupied building.

Details
Work included selective demolition of existing walls, ceilings, ductwork, FP piping, electrical systems, flooring, and kitchenette plumbing to accommodate a new office layout. Existing-to-remain finishes and walls were protected during construction activities while new construction included a new kitchenette, conference rooms, associated MEPFP infrastructure, copy room, and kitchen millwork, under slab power and data for new furniture layout, and light fixtures. This project consisted of extensive coordination with owner-furnished AV, furniture, IT, and security vendors was undertaken to ensure all systems integrated seamlessly upon project completion.
The employees of this space were temporarily relocated while this work was performed, so completing the project on schedule was paramount to ensure a quick move-in date. The project was successfully completed on time in accordance with the seven-week construction schedule.
